As Mandy and Kai warm up their transformed truck studio for an outdoor glass blowing show at the New Edward Gallery, in Calgary, Alberta, a thick fog materializes and fore tells of the cold and snow to come.... little do our heroes know...
Winter is coming....
Yet, even at the mercy and of the elements, the hot glass brings visual theatrics of it's very own... take that, winter!....
And so the show goes on... as well does some marshmallow roasting...
Glass art is made for the audience and media that comes to hear the story of the Glass House Collective...
And some of the audience even joins the show on stage to experience the hot glass process themselves...
This first outdoor winter hot glass show, and exhibition, brings to a close the touring schedule for the Glass House's first year. Thanks to the efforts and hard work of the New Edward Gallery, this was a very successful collaboration. News and events for the new year will come shortly!
