🕯️ Memorial Tealight Keepsake
The Memorial Tealight is a warm and comforting tribute designed to hold a small portion of cremation ashes within beautiful handblown glass. These tealights offer a gentle glow that honors the memory of a loved one and brings a sense of peace to any space. Each piece is handcrafted by artist Mandy Patchin at Glass House Xperience with the utmost care and respect.
You may choose between two signature styles, each offering its own unique look and presence:
Straight-Walled Tealight
Rounded Tealight
Because each tealight is handblown, slight variations in shape, thickness, and color flow make every piece truly unique.
We require 1 teaspoon of cremated remains per tealight. Only a small portion is incorporated during creation, and any unused ashes are respectfully returned to you with your completed keepsake.
🎨 Color Options (up to 2 colors):
Customize your tealight with up to two colors. Glass colors contain metal oxides, and some combinations may not blend smoothly; warm and cool tones, for example, can react in ways that appear muted or muddy. If you’re unsure which colors pair well, we’re happy to guide you in choosing harmonious combinations.
🐾 Optional Paw Print:
A paw print can be added at no extra cost, making this a beautiful memorial option for cherished pets as well.
✨ Inside the glass, the ashes appear as soft white flecks or gentle swirling patterns, creating a personal and luminous tribute when the tealight is lit.
📦 Sending Ashes:
After placing your order online, please drop off or mail 1 teaspoon of ashes to the address below. We recommend using a tracked shipping method for safety. In-person drop-off is also available at the Glass Gallery in SW Calgary (Haysboro), by appointment or during open house times.
